Privacy Policy

Tahneh is a family AI assistant built by DANZUS Holdings LLC. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how you stay in control. We wrote it in plain language on purpose.

1. What We Collect

• Your Telegram user ID and first name — so we know who you are
• Messages you send to Tahneh — so we can respond
• Memories you tell Tahneh to remember — stored until you delete them
• Family group membership and shared lists
• Token usage — so we can manage costs

That's it. We don't collect your phone number, email, contacts, or location unless you explicitly share it in a message.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide Tahneh's services — responding to you, remembering things, family features
• To improve response quality over time

We never use your data for advertising. We never sell it. We never share it with third parties for their own purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

• All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256)
• Hosted on Supabase (SOC 2 Type II compliant) and Vercel (SOC 2 compliant)
• AI processing via Anthropic (SOC 2 compliant)
• Each family's data is completely isolated — no cross-family access
• Service credentials are encrypted and never exposed to end users

4. Data Retention

• Conversation history: automatically deleted after 90 days
• Memories: kept until you delete them — you're in control
• Family data: kept while your family exists, deleted when the family is dissolved
• Account deletion: the /delete command removes ALL your data immediately

5. Your Rights

• Delete all your data anytime with the /delete command
• Leave a family anytime
• Request a data export — just contact us
• We comply with CCPA for California residents

6. Children's Privacy

Tahneh is designed for families, including children. Here's how we handle that:

• Children's accounts are managed by parents within the family system
• We do not knowingly collect data from children without parental involvement
• Role-based filtering ensures age-appropriate responses

7. Third-Party Services

These services help Tahneh work:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — processes messages to generate responses
• Telegram — message delivery platform
• Supabase — data storage
• Vercel — hosting
• Google Maps API — location features (no personal data sent)

We do not use analytics trackers or advertising SDKs.

8. Changes

If our practices change, we'll update this page. That's it. No surprises.
